Interschool Athletics 2019

Last week I had Interschool Athletics. I was nervous when I got down there but then I saw all my friends then I realized I should just have fun. When I looked on the timetable I saw that I had 3 rotations before my turn. I was competing in Long Jump, 100 meter sprints and High Jump. While I was waiting I watch Gavin and Matai compete in the 200 meter sprint. Matai made it into the 200 meter final. Me and Santino where cheering on Matai. Matai came 5th in the Final. We congratulate Matai then we went to watch Taj and Gavin in ball throw. It was unlucky for Gavin and Taj that they didn't get a placing. When ball throw was finished it was my turn to go to long jump. 

I walked over to the long jump and lined up. I had to wait a couple minutes before my turn. My first jump was 4 meters and 40 cm and that put me in the lead. I waited for everyone to have there 3 jumps and in those three jumps there was the same people in 1st 2nd and 3rd. Then the teacher said we had two jumps left. On my 3rd jump I jumped 1 meter 52 and I won. After that I had to go straight to 100 meter sprint. I won my heat by a lot and I was in the final. On your marks set BANG I sprinted off to the finish line and won The 100 meter final. Then I had high and i was really tired for high jump.
We started off with 1 meter 10 and i made it we went up all the way to 1 meter 27 and I was the only one left and the person how was doing high jump asked me to do 1 meter 34 and I made it, so I tried 1 meter 36 but I couldn't make it. After that we had the relay

The relay team was Bramm, Author, Oliver and Me. For our heat we came 3rd and that ment we were in the final. We were coming first until Mangapapa over took us and then it came to me and we were 3rd, I sprinted my hardest and we ended up coming 3rd out of Gisborne. In the overall points we tied 1st with Mangapapa.
