Cross Country 2019

Today we had our School Cross Country 2019. When we got there the year 6 girls were up first then the year 6 boys were next.

It was our turn to race.The blocks clapped together. We belted off to win the year 6 boys race. We had to do two big laps. I was second on the first lap and the second lap. Toby was in front of me, then we had a sprint off and I crossed the finish line before Toby so I won.

After my race we sat down and rested then I got asked to lead the year 0s so they don't get lost. The year 0s were really fast.

Primary Inter School Soccer Tournament 2019

One Wednesday Wainui Beach School took part in the Inter School Soccer Tournament 2019. We had 4 matches if we did well we would go into the Semi Finals. So our first game we won 5-0, then my 2 game we won 1-0. Then we faced a good team and beat them 1-0. Last match to decide if we go into the semi finals or not. We would be in if we drawed or won but if we lose were out. It was a draw 1-1 so we were in the semis. We won the semis 6-0. So that game put us throw to the finals. There was no goals scored so it went to penitals. Best out of three. We won penitals 2-1.

The Museum of Old Technology

In week 7 Moana Learning Hub went to the Museum of Old Technology. 

We were put into our Retro Tech Buzz group. When we got there Barry had laid our objects on a table. 

In week 5 we got given an object from back in the day. We had to figure it out what it is then we would estimate what year was your object used in and were would people place it. In a factory or your house? Then we told Barry what we think our object was. when every group finished we got to try to find our item in the Museum. 

Once we found our item we played in the fire trucks. If we wanted to we got to play in the military place.

It was a fun experience at the Museum. My favorite thing was going in the big truck in the military. 

Wheels day

Last week we skated, scooter and biked on our walkway. It was really fun because MLH all went. Some of us fell and some didn't. Our teacher, Koka Terri her cousin had made these maori design and put it on the walkway. Also her family owned land up on the hills. But they can't get to it because someone else has built a driveway and they do not have a way to get up to there land. We had a fun time.

Hey welcome to my blog this is my 4 quick writes for this week.

Superman needed help. He picked up the phone and began to dial Batman. "Batman here, do I have to save your butt AGAIN laughed batman". "No I want you to baby sit a couple of kittens. is that ok CATMAN, while I go and destroy Bane for ever so he doesn't kick your butt said Superman". It's my lucky day I have to babysit kittens Batman thought to himself.

This is my second  quick write.  

You see, Ruffy wasn't the only dog that lived in the forest. There was another dog call Scuffy. Scuffy has dark brown fur like dark chocolate. Scuffy's only friend was Ruffy. They never got to see each other because Scuffy lived on the other side of the tree. Also they were in little dog house. They also bark at each other because they sometimes don't agree of things.                                                                                

This is my third quick write

From somewhere within the walls of green that surround him, he heard footsteps approaching, slowly and  purposefully, it began to dawn on Carl that he was not alone at all. SNAP. Carl turned around and saw a wild pig charging at him. He dogged out of the way and grabbed his knife and stabbed the pig because he was desperate for food. Carl made use of his wild life training and was able to make a fire to cooked the pig. Carl turned really sleeping and falled asleep having nightmares that he won't make it out alive.

My favorite quick write was the Superman because I like watching DC movies with superman and batman.

Culture club

This term (term 4) we are doing Culture Cub.

You are probably wondering what is Culture Club. So Koka Ngaire put up different countries and she would call out our names and we would choose what countrie and if you are going to do it by yourself or buddy. I chose Mexico with Jacob. 

So we have to learn about Mexico like famous person that is alive, capital city, nicest food, president and lots more. Then at the end of school year we dress up in our countries cloths and bring in a famous food from whatever country they chose.  

What I am most looking forward to is dressing up and see what other people made.

What is a quick well a quick write is when our teacher writes on the board a sentence starter and you have to finish it off but, you have to have 5 sentences or more.

As the colours swirled around me I remembered how I got knocked out. So I was just walking home from school and I saw a bee and then I whacked it because I am allergic to bees. But he was an angry bee and stung me. Now I am here on the ground really dizzy.So I started to walk home bu6t someone came past and ask if i was okay I said "no I just go just got stung by a bee, I am allergic to bees. So she rang my mum and my mum took me to hospital. Then the doctors pulled out the poison that the bee infected!!!
